Health Club & Pool (Open every day 6 am- 9 pm.) Work up a sweat, then take a dip in the pool! The Wrest Point Health Club is situated on the lower ground floor of the Tower and use of equipment and facilities is free to house guests. The centre includes a fully equipped gymnasium with modern exercise machines, cycles, treadmills and free weights. A heated indoor swimming pool, infants paddling pool, spa hot tub and saunas are available within the health club. Fresh towels are available poolside. Thrifty Car Rental : A hire car is just a phone call away. Thrifty has a large selection of vehicles in its fleet ranging from the sporty Mitsubishi Lancer Coupe to the exotic Alfa Romeo Spider backed by 12 locations around Tasmania and 24 hour Roadside assistance. The Thrifty desk is located in the foyer, and is open 7 days a week. Business Bureau : Located on the Mezzanine Floor, the Wrest Point Business Bureau provides: - Internet Access (Internet Explorer) - Microsoft Office 2000 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) - Printing (black and white only) For $10 per hour, users can access any number of times as long as there is still time left on their card. Ferries : Local ferries depart from the Jetty on the Boardwalk daily. Full timetable is available from the Tours Desk located in the foyer. Healthy Business : The team from Healthy Business is available for personal one-on-one fitness assessments and training regimes. There is no need to miss out on regular exercise while on holiday or away from home. Healthy Business is also available for rehabilitation purposes. You'll find them in the Health Club. Soulful Infusions : Extensive range of facial and body treatments, relaxation massage, manicure and pedicure, make-ups, and solarium. Open Tuesday-Saturday. Mezzanine Floor Tasmanian Seaplanes : Take an exhilirating flight over the wilderness! Departs from the Wrest Point Boardwalk to various wilderness lakes, South West Wilderness areas and coastal waterways, plus half day all-inclusive tours to Port Arthur Historic Site. Shorter flights ranging from 20-50 minutes duration over Hobart, Derwent River, Huon River and Bruny Island are also available. 7 days 9 am-4.00 pm winter, 9 am-5 pm during summer. Play a round of Mini Golf or a few sets of Tennis : Work up a pre-lunch appetite with a hit of tennis. The tennis court is loated in the garden area, and overlooks the River Derwent. Both racquets and tennis balls are available for hire during daylight hours. Court bookings should be made at the concierge desk in the foyer. The 9 hole mini golf courseis located in the gardens adjacent to the tennis court. Putters and balls are available from the conceirge during daylight hours.
